Javid founded Otto with a multidisciplinary perspective spanning architecture, construction, and real estate development. He leads the firm’s overall direction while remaining closely involved in its projects.
His approach to construction emphasizes proportion, materials, and detailing, with careful attention to how design decisions translate into built work. He works closely with clients, architects, and design teams from preconstruction through completion to resolve complex details, evaluate constructability, and manage costs while preserving the quality and intent of the original design.

Mike brings extensive experience in custom homebuilding and project management to his role at Otto. He oversees daily construction operations, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and quality control.
Mike takes a hands-on approach to the work, staying close to the details and the people building them. He works through field conditions and construction questions with the design team, keeps clients informed, and makes sure each phase is ready for the next.
