Javid founded Otto with a multidisciplinary perspective spanning architecture, construction, and real estate development.
At Otto, Javid leads the firm’s overall direction while remaining closely involved in its projects. his approach to construction places particular emphasis on proportion, materiality, detailing, and the relationship between design intent and execution.
Javid works closely with clients, architects, and design teams from pre-construction through completion, helping navigate complex details, evaluate constructability, manage cost, and ensure that the finished work reflects the quality and intent envisioned at the onset.

Mike brings extensive construction and project management experience to Otto, with a particular background in custom residential construction.
As Senior Director of Construction, Mike leads project execution and field operations across the firm’s work. He oversees scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, procurement, and day-to-day construction, working closely with the field team and office.
Mike’s experience managing complex residential projects gives him a practical understanding of what it takes to execute highly detailed work successfully in the field. His approach combines rigorous planning with hands-on problem solving, helping ensure that design intent is maintained while projects remain organized and accountable.
